Until now, karta has helped you get found and helped you see what a company is actually like. Today we're adding the next step: a job board.
Jobs, sorted for you
The job board collects open roles from companies' own public job boards on Greenhouse, Ashby and Teamtailor. Each company's page lists its open roles too.
Most job boards sort by keyword or by date. karta sorts by how a role fits you. Add your profile, and every role gets two separate scores.
- Role fit compares the job with your work summary. Does this role look like the work you actually do?
- People like you compares you with the karta members who already work at that company. Do people who work the way you do end up there?
We keep the two apart on purpose. A role can be a perfect match on paper at a company where nobody works like you, or the other way round.
Labels
Each score is shown as a label: Strong fit, Good fit, Partial fit, or nothing at all.
If nothing on the board is close to your work, you'll see "Nothing here is close to your work history yet".
Matching on the work itself
Before a role is matched, we boil the posting down to a short summary of the job itself: what the person owns, the domain, and the skills it asks for. That summary is compared with your work summary. You'll find it on each job page under "In short". Postings are summarized in English, but the contents of the job postings depend on each company's own posting.
Jobs on the map
Switch the board to Map to see roles laid out by the work they involve. Roles close together involve similar work. Click a role to open it.
Applying to jobs
When you find a role you like, "Apply" takes you straight to the company's own posting. We don't sit in the middle, collect your application, or pass your details on.
Free, and it works without a profile
The board is free, and you can browse it without an account: search titles, companies and places, and filter by remote, hybrid or on-site and by seniority. To see how each role fits you, build your profile. It takes a few minutes.
